GOOD REPORT
HEALED FROM HYPERTENSION AND
CHRONIC PAIN
At the Pentecostal Fellowship of
Nigeria, Ikotun zone overnight prayer meeting, Rev Sylvester
spoke on the Mind of Man. His teaching was profound, simple
and very forceful. It opened my eyes to the power of the
human mind, and the relationship between our thoughts and
our health. I have been suffering from hypertension with
chronic migraine headache for ten years. I have used several
chemical and herbal drugs without success. I spend most of
my salary on medication. Sometimes, the chronic headache
will almost result into madness. For whenever it happens, I
loose consciousness of my environment.
The teaching of the man of God
changed my life. I got hold of the word and decided to put
it to practice. So, I decided I will never take any drug
again, but will keep my thoughts clean and eliminate every
worry and anxiety over my present state and all challenges
of life. Glory be to God in the highest. Since that service
till date, I have been healed. Today, three months later, I
am still healed. I am a living proof that the word works.

I LEARNT THE SECRET OF
VICTORY THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
I started drinking since I was
30years of age. I have been drinking for the past three
decades. I started with beer, and then graduated to whisky
in one week. I was complemented by my pears. That encouraged
me as I drifted and became a heavy drinker. This led me to
the part of destruction, disease, decay and depression with
death in sight.
I drifted from a normal person
to a terribly bad person under the influence and control of
the devil. Alcoholism became my problem – a serious problem
like a disease. I drank for all reasons and all seasons. My
family left me. I became devastated. I went into all kinds
of sins as a result. I became frustrated and struggled to
overcome. I went into the Christian Care center for help and
rehabilitation. It was here that I met Pastor Sylvester
Onyemalechi who taught us about the mind of man.
His teachings on the mind of man
renewed my mind and transformed my life. It showed me how to
manage my problem through management of my thoughts. I
understood that my thoughts create my desires and passions,
and if I work on my thoughts, I will kill all the evil
desires for alcohol and all other sins. I learnt also that
the mind of man can be influenced by another, and that the
mind can be defiled by the things we see and hear. As a
result I made up my mind to watch my thoughts and through
thought control, overcome my alcoholic problem.
I have been practicing this
since then, and my life has changed. Pastor Sylvester’s
teaching gave me the way out and hope that I will be
completely well.

MY PERCEPTION OF LIFE CHANGED
My perception of life totally
changed after hearing your talks on the MIND AND THOUGHTS. I
used to live my life like it was fated and destined. Now I
have a different view of my life. I have come to understand
that this while I could have controlled my life the way I
wanted it to flow, but I seldom lived otherwise.
With your teaching I realized
that everything depends on the way we think and how we
accept the reality or our lives. Now I can identify someone
who is trying to manipulate me or poison my mind with evil
or negative thoughts. I have also learnt that positive
thinking alone is not enough for a successful life. One
needs the power of God in addition to a positive mindset to
make it in life.
I learnt from your teaching that
I can create a positive, powerful and sound mind by studying
and feeding on God’s word the Bible. All a man needs to make
it in life is contained in the Bible. I wouldn’t have
realized this without your talks on the Mind and Thoughts.
This is why I testify that now I am a different person with
a brand new mind filled with spiritual and positive
thoughts.
The Bible teaches that “What a
man thinks is what he becomes”. I wouldn’t have understood
this without your talks. Thank you very much Pastor for
being a blessing to me.
